It’s called SpamAssassin and is available with each package, so in case you host your domains with us, you can choose one of the 5 levels of safety that the anti-spam filter offers for any email account that you have here. You can do this with just two mouse clicks from the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel that is used to manage all shared accounts. SpamAssassin checks the header section and the content of each email message, gives it a spam score and then continues on the basis of the level that you’ve picked. Each email account can have a different level and you can choose if the emails that the spam filter flags as spam should be erased or forwarded to another mailbox where you can examine them at a later time, so as to prevent deleting a legitimate email message. Switching to a different level or deactivating the anti-spam protection is also amazingly easy.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our semi-dedicated server plans offer top-level anti-spam protection guaranteed by the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter, which rates all inbound messages based on a spam score in accordance with patterns and parameters, such as the frequency of certain keywords and phrases, the subject, the sender, etc. When you enable the filter for any account via the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you can choose between 5 different protection levels – from very low to very high. If you still receive spam, you can raise the level, or if genuine messages are blocked as spam, you can lower it. Activating or deactivating the spam protection takes as little as 2 clicks of the mouse and you can choose if the filtered emails should be erased right away or if they should be forwarded to a designated mailbox where you can view them later, so as to ensure that important emails won’t get lost.
