Aside from having more system resources, a very good reason why you can get your own hosting server and use it instead of a shared website hosting plan is the fact you are able to install and run a large selection of software. With a shared account, you could use apps, which don't need root access and are not installed server-side, so in case you need specific software for your web sites, you can't do the installation on a shared hosting server. This isn't so with a server of your own in which you can install whatever you would like. The downside is that you may not have much experience and managing your own hosting server is more challenging that managing a shared Internet hosting account where the provider takes care of most things. This is the reason why we offer an additional service for our hosting server packages called Installation & Troubleshooting and you could reap the benefits of it any time that you encounter any difficulties with the supervision of your hosting server.

Installation and Troubleshooting in VPS

The upgrade includes an hour of custom work on your hosting server, so if you get any of our virtual private servers packages, you could take full advantage of this service and have our admins do different tasks which you are unable to do yourself or you just have no time. They are able to install and set up any piece of third-party software for you in case the installation is complicated or they can troubleshoot any program that does not perform efficiently for some reason. You may add the upgrade to your package as frequently as you would like depending on the time needed for a specific task and its complexity. Any remaining time shall remain available in your account for the future and you shall be able to see how many minutes are left within your billing CP. Our Managed Services upgrade provides half an hour of custom work on your server too, but in case you require more than that, you may always add the Installation & Troubleshooting upgrade with a couple of clicks through the billing area.
